Jack gagged as the man's grip grew tighter and he nearly dropped the purse. The man was walking him away, just like that! Jack was 17 years old and this guy lifted him up like he was a tinker toy! Where's...Merv? Jack dimly thought to himself. The big man was taking him towards the cuttin board...he could foggily see it...approaching. "Bastard." Jack cussed, spitting on the guy. The man snarled and threw Jack against the ground at the foot of the cuttin board.

"Sqwak! Ahoy-matey! Como es stas! " " Shut up Tony! And you don't even know what the means, so just shut yer beak!" Merv growled dangerosly as the flurry of feathers that was perched on his hunched shoulder rocked back and forth. Two squinted pale blue eyes scanned the premises along with analyzing the situation before Merv, or Larry, held a goood grasp upon it. Apparently, Jack had managed to get himself in quite a fix. Stealing a woman's purse so carelessly, tut tut, it made him quite abashed of Jack. Suddenly, Merv clenched Tony's mid-section which rendered Tony the parrot too exhale a pained, and dumbfounded shriek. "SQWAK! What are you doing boss? SQWAK!" The parrot croaked from Merv's unmoving lips as he tossed the wooden bird at the man. Hopefully, Tony had struck him in the head both himself and Jack would be able to make yet another grand ol' escape.

Jack scrambled to his feet, taking the purse with him...there was no way he would leave that behind now... He took off down the street, his feet barely seeming to touch the ground. Jack would thank Merv later.

" Careless Jack, careless," Merv said, his tone saturated with disaproval as he jogged right beside Jack. Of course, for a man shaped as he was it simply was not as easy to be able to keep pace, which made him begin to huff and puff more like a steam engine.

Jack slowed, but his breathing was panty. "She started it! She gave chase! She herded me right towards the piers!" He panted to Merv. Jack grew quiet for a moment. "...Thanks..."

Kristin searched for Jack and found him with another person.she sneaked up behined him.

Jack whirled around suddenly, having sensed someone. "What is it yu want from me?" He asked, surprised she was still trying to get her purse back. "God! Here!" He said, throwing the empty purse at her feet.
